structure which, in the video, is compared to the interior of a bone. A bone gains strength from its outside being covered with a rigid material. At 1:34 the narrator describes the possibility of using micro lattice in airplane structural components, such as interior panels and floors. Because these components require rigidity perhaps the micro lattice could be adapted to auto body parts like the fender, hood, door skin, floor and seat frame, for example.
